MET-Calc is a set engineering and technical calculations according to standards for your day-to-day routines. It will reliably, precisely, and most of all quickly guide you through the design of components, the solution of a technical problem, or a calculation of an engineering point without any significant need for expert knowledge.

The user interface MET-Calc: Most calculations have a similar user interface, the advantage of which is the logical structure of the task from the top to bottom of the results. So, as you are accustomed to doing, if you solve the task with a calculator on a sheet of paper.

Calculations of MET-Calc are offered in the form of one-year subscriptions for one user. Subscription for one year is 50€ (one license for one user). Payments are via PayPal.

MET-Calc offers a free 14-day trial on certain test calculations after registration.

Hydrodynamic calculation Howell-Jet valve

The Howell-Jet is a type of valve used for dam outlets. The valve uses a flow-shaped body which moves in the direction of the longitudinal axis inside the valve. The water jet leaving the valve has the shape of a hollow cylinder.
